After a much-appreciated delayed departure, Amtrak 10, the North Carolina Transportation Museum\’s Fall Excursion Special from Spencer, NC, came around the curve south of the Park crossovers and came on through with an incredible throttle-up and a generous horn salute. Amtrak P42DC\’s 148, 136, and 93 led 25 excursion cars back to Spencer, NC. Below is a list of the consist and a short history for each car that can be found with a quick Google search.
