SECTION 1 00:31 — 13:57 Glendora Mountain Road (southwest section, heading northeast/uphill) — 9.1 miles SECTION 2 13:58 — 21:38 Glendora Mountain Road (northeast section, heading northeast/downhill) — 4.9 miles SECTION 3 21:39 — 28:58 Glendora Mountain Road (northeast section, heading southwest/uphill) — 4.9 miles SECTION 4 28:59 — 47:49 Glendora Ridge Road (heading east) — 12 miles This video chronicles a spirited drive over the entire length of Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road in Angeles National Forest, California on the afternoon of October 1st, 2011. I justified this indulgence under the guise of reaching the Sunset Ridge Trail for a mountain bike ride. Such is the magic of sport wagons, and the one in use here is a slightly modified 2004 Mazda 6s. (I had just slapped on a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics 235/45R17, and they proved, in short, amazing. Always get a good set of tires on before modifying your suspension, because you won\’t know what to modify or how much until you do.) The only editing I have done to this video, which was filmed in one continuous take, is to remove footage of backing up and making a U-turn at the ends of Sections 1 and 2, respectively. If you only want to watch part of run, I would suggest the third section (21:39-28:58) as it is the only time I am driving into the sun, which makes for more dynamic footage.
