CVB NEWS- In a bid to promote motor sport in India, Toyota Kirloskar unveiled Etios and Liva concept cars on the second day of Auto Expo 2012 here in New Delhi. Developed on the Toyota Etios platform, company has launched them for the upcoming Etios Motor Racing (EMR) Trophy. They have teamed up with Toyota Racing Development (TRD) to support all the promotional activities. Toyota\’s venture into the Indian Motorsport scene comes at a time just after India hosted its maiden F1 race in the later half 2011. Sandeep Singh, Deputy MD of the automobile company also revealed vigorous plans to promote motor sport among youth. The EMR series is scheduled in year 2013 and will be based on a one-make racing championship platform, comprising of 5-6 individual race events….
